Questions partners ask.

Twelve questions we hear in almost every first call, answered plainly. Anything else, email us.

Is the project really free?

Yes, to acquire. Approved partners pay no project acquisition or purchase fee and no deposit. Your own operating costs, such as staff, seats, connectivity and management, remain yours.

How much can my team earn?

It depends on the app, its split and your team's results. We don't quote a monthly figure in advance, because it would be a guess. Each activation sheet sets out how every rupee is earned, and the earnings page lets you work the arithmetic.

Are the commission percentages fixed?

No. They vary by app and opportunity and are written into the activation sheet before your team starts. The 72/14/14 split on this site is an illustration only.

When and how are we paid?

Earnings are calculated from the CRM, shown on a monthly statement and settled on the payment cycle in your partner agreement, after the reversal window for refunds and cancellations.

Is there a minimum team size?

No single minimum. Each opportunity states the team it needs. Smaller teams usually start as Sales Partners on one app.

Can we work on several apps at once?

Yes, subject to capacity and performance, with different roles on different apps under one agreement.

Who owns the customer?

Customers buy through the Akon One apps and stay customers of the vendor and the platform. Your team serves them under the programme's rules.

Do we get exclusivity in our city?

Not automatically. Territory or app protection is only offered through separate commercial terms with their own performance criteria.

Can we use our own dialler?

Yes, if it meets the opportunity's compliance needs. Every outcome must still be logged in the Akontec CRM, because payouts are calculated from it.

Do regulated apps need licensed staff?

Some roles in Finance, SafeInsure, Healthcare and Legal do. Where an opportunity needs certified or licensed agents, it says so before you choose it.

What happens if a vendor leaves?

We give notice, settle what has been earned, and offer your team other open opportunities where they fit.

How do we leave the programme?

Give the notice in the partner agreement. Earned commissions are settled after the reversal window and customer data stays on the platform.
